Dr Curry is a graduate of Mt Holyoke College and the Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Washington and the University of Minnesota before training in Clinical Genetics at the University of California, San Francisco. She is boarded in Pediatrics and Clinical Genetics and has been practicing clinical genetics in Fresno for over 30 years. She is the Medical Director of Genetic Medicine Central California, a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco and on the clinical faculty at Stanford. She has pursued research studies on the causes of mental retardation and birth defects as well as on new techniques for their evaluation.

Dawn has been the Director of Clinical Services at GMCC since the practice was opened in July 2003. She obtained her M.S. in Genetic Counseling and her Ph.D. in Medical Genetics from the Department of Medical Genetics of Indiana University, Indianapolis. She has been Board-Certified in Genetic Counseling since 1982 and certified as a Ph.D. Medical Geneticist and a Clinical Cytogeneticist by the American Board of Medical Genetics since 1990 and 1993, respectively. She has held academic appointments at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) and has been an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at UCSF-Fresno since 2004. She has directed clinical genetics research projects and run a diagnostic laboratory, as well as having many years of teaching experience. Her current clinical specialty is hereditary predisposition to cancer.

Jamie received her B.S. in Molecular Biology from San Jose State University in 1987, after which she completed her Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling at the University of California Berkeley, graduating in 1990. She obtained her Board Certification in Genetic Counseling the same year. After working as a genetic counselor with Dr. Cyndy Curry at Children's Hospital Central California 1990-2001, she helped establish the Angel Babies program of Hinds Hospice. Jamie has been part of the team at Genetic Medicine Central California since 2003. She specializes in pediatric genetics and reproductive genetics and coordinates the Prader-Willi syndrome clinic at GMCC.

Lisa received her M.S. in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College in 2010 and joined Genetic Medicinein January 2011. Her areas of specialty are cancer genetics and prenatal genetic counseling. Prior to receiving her Human Genetics degree, Lisa received her B.S. in Psychology and Biology in 2005 and her M.A. in Educational Psychology in 2007 from the University of New Mexico.
Melissa Cornelius, R.D. Clinical Dietitian
Melissa received her B.S. in Dietetics from Brigham Young University. She completed her Dietetic Internship through Porterville Developmental Center and soon after became a Registered Dietitian. She has been working since that time as a pediatric dietitian at Children's Hospital Central California and consulting for group homes. She has been an integral part of the Prader-Willi Syndrome Clinic at GMCC since it began in November 2005.

Suzanne Cassidy, M.D. Board-certified Clinical Geneticist Previous Chief of Genetics - UC Irvine Associate Professor of Pediatrics, UCSF
Suzanne Cassidy received her Master’s Degree in Biochemistry and her MD.from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She did a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Medical Genetics at University of Washington. She has been on the faculty of University of Connecticut Dept. of Pediatrics, University of Arizona Dept. of Pediatrics, Case Western Reserve University Depts. of Genetics and Pediatrics, University of California at Irvine and at San Francisco (Depts. Of Pediatrics), achieving the rank of Full Professor. She is certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics in Clinical Genetics and by the American Board of Pediatrics. She practices general clinical genetics, but has a focus on causes of developmental delay, particularly Prader-Willi syndrome. She conducts a Prader-Willi Syndrome Clinic at GMCC.
Robin Clark, M.D. Board-Certified Clinical Geneticist Chief of Genetics, Loma Linda University
Dr. Clark graduated from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 1978, after which she complete her pediatric residency in Philadelphia and Tucson. Next came a three year fellowship in Medical Genetics at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center beginning in 1984. Dr. Clark is Board-certified in Pediatrics, Clinical Genetics and Clinical Cytogenetics. She has held academic positions in pediatrics and genetics at UCLA School of Medicine (1986-1989), University of Southern California, (1992-2002) and Loma Linda University School of Medicine (1989-1992, 2002-present). She is the owner of Genesis Laboratories, a private cytogenetics laboratory, in Riverside, California, established in 1992. Dr. Clark holds a pediatric genetics clinic at GMCC once a month and also staffs a GMCC outreach clinic in Bakersfield
